Anatoliy Mykolayovych Dyachenko was born on March 20, 1959, in Kyiv. He graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Art, served in Khabarovsk in a song-and-dance ensemble, and from 1982 worked in the Theatre of Variety. Until 1991 he also performed in the “Sharzh” Miniatures Theatre in Odesa and Kyiv.
He became widely known in Ukraine as an actor, TV host, and showman. Dyachenko was one of the faces of the comedy club “Zolotyi Husak” and hosted “3x4. The Funniest Home Video.” Screen audiences especially remember him for “Evenings on a Farm Near Dykanka,” “Chasing Two Hares,” “Sorochynskyi Fair,” and “Women’s Intuition.” He died in a car crash near Vyshhorod on July 13, 2005.
